  What are 1915 Act
Districts?
1915 Act Special Assessment are property tax charges that pay for certain public improvements such as roads, sewer, water, and utility construction. Like other property tax charges, 1915 Act districts require a 2/3 vote of approval by property owners.
 
 
  Why Do I Need To
Disclose?
Effective January 1st, 2002, 1915 Act Assessment districts must be disclosed by the seller to property buyers. A Notice of Special Assessment must be included to describe the district. To learn more about Senate Bil 1122, click here.
